Our story
A bright little studio
with a welder in it
Dirty Bird Jewellery is a proudly female-owned studio in Surrey, BC — cream walls, gold arched mirrors, a pink feather chandelier, and usually someone mid-laugh holding a champagne coupe.
Everything here is made in small batches: sterling silver and 14k gold fill, semi-precious stones picked by hand, birth flowers engraved one disc at a time. When a batch sells out, that's the batch — we'd rather make the next thing than reprint the last one.
The welder came later, and then it took over. Permanent jewellery turned appointments into occasions — mother-daughter dates, bridal parties, friends who wanted to be connected forever. The birds at Dirty Bird Jewellery took the studio on the road, packing all that energy into a travel case so we can pop up at events, celebrations, markets, and private parties across the Lower Mainland.
